I had been promoted right before we started our session with online business coach Robert Kokai. I have been new to my current role so the timing was perfect as I needed some guidance on how to perform at my highest potential as a Team Leader. In each session we set a goal and talked through the steps I should make to reach it. After each session we agreed on tasks I had to complete to obtain/improve a skill. I learned different techniques about how to communicate effectively with different kinds of people, how to help the team grow and find their potential. We made some tests which I could do with my team as well to determine everyone’s role within the team. Since there was a structural change within my team, the team members felt that they did not know their roles in the new set up. I used to be the go-to person before and since the change they did not know who to contact, if they could still turn to me, who is considered as the senior one in the team and how to reach out to each other. With the Belbin test we defined everyone’s role within the team and got a better understanding on how to communicate with each other more effectively.

I also learned how to delegate tasks which seemed difficult in the beginning as I also got used to the go-to person role and did not want to lose their trust.

The benefits of online business coaching are many; it helps to increase self-awareness, improve work performance and relationships. I learned a lot about myself as a person and as a team leader too.

It is a great opportunity if someone needs guidance in business related questions/areas or would like to have a better understanding of themselves.
